Jane Barrientos has been a student, teacher, shop owner, lecturer, demonstrator, furniture painter, author and trade show participant. She currently paints and teaches weekly classes from her home studio. She also teaches a one week seminar in her studio each July. Jane is a member of the Society of Decorative Painters and the Academic Artists' Association. She earned her CDA in 1991 and a certificate of Trompe L'Oeil / Sharp Focus Still Life from the Paier College of Fine Art in 1995. She is listed in Who's Who in America and has won awards from the Piedmont Art Show in Connecticut and the Westfest Art Festival in Massachusetts.
