Owned and operated by Bonnie Demers, Dizzy by Design is proud to be a new Canadian small home-based decorative tole painting and designing business. Based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba, the first thing that many people ask me is "Why in the world would you pick a business name like Dizzy by Design?" I then chuckle to myself and simply say, "Well, I suppose it is because that is exactly what I am. Just ask my mother, it was her idea for the name!" Spend any given day with me in my paint studio and you will see it for yourself too. I thrive on doing 101 things all at the same time and that is when I am happiest. I love everything about the entire painting creative process and to this day haven't found anything I didn't enjoy doing. Driven by a constant need to always learn and try something new and different, I enjoy designing and painting primitives, folk art, floral, animals, Victorian, whimsical, seasonal, scenery, medieval and anything else that appeals to me at any given moment. "Do what you love....the rest just happens." is the signature that I live by. Married to my husband David, we are blessed with one beautiful young daughter Ashley, who is also my biggest inspiration. Having the role of full-time mother, painting full-time and designing certainly keeps life from never having a dull moment.
